Suzan-Lori Parks

This month I'm going to be working on a new musical project by Suzan Lori-Parks, directed by Lear deBessonet and music directed by Jason Michael Webb. I'm serving in a music capacity, which is extremely fulfilling!

Suzan-Lori Parks was an inspirational professor to me in my final year of grad school at NYU Grad Acting, when we took a collaboration class between playwrights, actors, designers and directors, but since then I've just been an average superfan of her writing, like everyone I know. And I've admired Lear deBessonet's productions for years now, and in particular her creation of the Public Works programme at the Public Theater for many years now.
 

So: cloud nine to work on a meaningful project like this. Grateful, grateful, grateful!
