As of March 17th 2020, gatherings of 50 people or more have been banned in New York City in order to slow the spread of COVID-19. A state of emergency has been declared. Lyricist Casey Kendall wrote a musical, THE JURY, which was scheduled to have a workshop which was cancelled.

Composer-lyricist Emily Gardner Xu Hall was going to present songs from her musicals CHERRY ORCHARD and MEI-DO in a concert at Triad Theatre, but it was cancelled.

Now that they’re self-quarantining to #flattenthecurve, they’ve got a lot of time on their hands.
