Arranger and Music Supervisor for Page 73 Benefit honouring Barbara Whitman

Emily served as music supervisor and arranger for Page 73’s Spring Benefit on May 9th, this year honouring Barbara Whitman. A Strange Loop, Michael R. Jackson’s Pulitzer Prize-winning musical, co-produced by Barbara Whitman Productions and Page 73 Productions, opened about a week ago on Broadway. For more about the event, read about it on BroadwayWorld.

Amazingly, on the same morning as the benefit, A Strange Loop received a whopping eleven Tony nominations. A great night to celebrate theatre!

Emily arranged “Boundaries” from A Strange Loop and “I Miss The Mountains” from Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey’s Next To Normal, one of Barbara Whitman’s productions and another winner of the Pulitzer Prize. The band was Joe Brent on mandolin, Kristine Kruta on cello, and Jason Weisinger as Music Director on piano.
